Irving PadronIrving A. Padron has over 19 years of experience in business management, entrepreneurship, and complex real estate transactions in South Florida, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Mr. Padron is a licensed Florida Certified Public Accountant, Mortgage Broker and Real Estate Broker. He holds a BBA and MBA, with a specialization in Accounting and International Business, from the University of Miami.

Mr. Padron founded Deering Companies in 2006. As CEO, Irving A. Padron leads Deering Companies' strategy, relationship building and client service efforts. Deering is one of the fastest growing business advisory firms in South Florida. Business advisory clients include BANIF Investment Banking, University of Miami and J&C Tropicals. Deering Companies has also advised on real estate transactions for Related Group, Fortune International, Terra Group and The Peebles Corporation.

Irving A. Padron founded the Sotheby's International Realty franchise in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale and as CEO grew the company into an immediately profitable and market dominant residential brokerage firm in several of South Florida's highest priced communities, averaging over $7 million per transaction. The firm worked with various large scale developers in South Florida and the Caribbean, managing over $800 million in 5+ star developer sales contracts. The firm expanded into Ft Lauderdale, and obtained exclusive rights from Sotheby's International Realty for Boca Raton, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands.

Mr. Padron was Terremark's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 1997 to 2001. Mr. Padron was CFO when Terremark was initially taken public through reverse merger and he participated in raising over $300 million in debt and equity during that period. Terremark was acquired by Verizon for $1.4 billion in 2011. Terremark converted from a leading regional real estate developer into an international internet infrastructure provider during his tenure as CFO. Prior to that conversion, Terremark developed several of Miami's landmark real estate projects, including Terremark Centre (300,000 sf Class A office building), the NAP of the Americas (750,000 sf world class data center/telecom hotel), and, as co developer, the $450 million mixed-use Four Seasons Hotel and Tower. Terremark also managed over 3 million sf of commercial and residential property during Mr. Padron’s time as CFO.

Mr. Padron began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick in 1991. His clients included a strong roster of real estate clients, including developers, retail land sales companies, and foreign syndicates who invested heavily in South Florida during the downturn in the early 1990’s. Mr. Padron was promoted early to manager, becoming the youngest member of KPMG's real estate practice. He was also in-charge of the worldwide audit for Burger King Corporation.

Mr. Padron has been named one of Daily Business Review’s “Faces to Watch” and played a lead role on TV’s “Million Dollar Agents”. He is on the advisory board of The Launch Pad at the University of Miami, and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, Miami Finance Forum, Florida Venture Forum, Urban Land Institute, The Mortgage Bankers Association, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
